My collection of sketches from Bergkirchweich Erlangen 2022.

They are not done on location but referenced from Videos and photos taken on our short visit there.

I know for certain I wont be looking back to the videos in my phone but certainly my sketches. I decided to share them with you and turning them into a Zine.

This makes perfect mini memories of your moments of the Bergkirchweih. It could be a nice memorable gift to your friends and family too.

Real Urban sketching will be done next year in 2023 hopefully!

It was challenging enough with a 2 years old toddler who was born in pandemic time and not use to the crowded places and being pregnant 7 months too.

Inside is filled with sketches collection of Bergkirchweih in 2022 Erlangen.

The cover is taken from Calendar 2022, so yes it is a reused materials. One way how Manjachen Studio contribute to reduce waste products and protection of enviroment.

Cover paper is 300gsm thickness.
Making this Zine is part of my learning process and a mini me project before I take a leave for my maternity postpartum time.

I have many artworks/sketches done since I started my art journey especially sketches of city of Erlangen. I have compiled them and wanted badly to turn them into a coffee book table. Reality is, printing production is not cheap and require a hefty money. I believe one day I would be able to make this dream come true.

For now, I take this Zine making as a learning process on how to turn my artworks onto print production, although I do have Art Prints & Postcards available on my Webshop. The process can be quite different.

Fizah – The Artist Behind Manjachen

Originally from Malaysia, I moved to Germany as a trailing spouse. My journey of adapting to a new culture and building a life in Bavaria has deeply influenced my artistic path.
