About the Artist – Meet Your Hochzeitszeichnerin
Hi, I’m Fizah – a live event illustrator and fine art artist based in Bavaria, originally from Malaysia.
My journey to Germany began with love where I moved here to build a new life with my German husband. As I navigated a new country, language, and culture, art became my anchor. I started sketching the world around me: the charming streets, the local cafés, the architecture by using ink and watercolor to feel at home and connect with people around me. I always have my sketchbooks in my handbags.
That same spirit now flows into every wedding I illustrate.
It’s an incredible honor for me to celebrate other people’s love stories through art. Every time I sit down to sketch a guest or a couple, I’m reminded of how love bridges cultures, languages, and lives as just like mine did.
With a background in urban sketching and live event illustration, I’ve worked at weddings, trade fairs, luxury brand activations, and cultural festivals. I draw with heart, speed, and style but most of all, I draw with genuine curiosity and joy.
Whether I’m sketching a joyful guest or listening to a grandmother share a story, I thrive in the beauty of human connection. I have two kids of my own, so kids can always be chatty with me while I paint them too.
