The Floral Garten Collection bloomed during one of the hardest seasons of my life—when the world was quiet and chaotic all at once. We were confined at home, not because of the famous virus itself, but because illness had visited our little family. I was a new mother navigating postpartum recovery, isolation, and uncertainty, all while holding my tiny newborn in a world that felt like it was on fire.
We live in a serene village in Bavaria where nature whispers healing into everyday life. During slow walks and quiet moments by the window, I began to see the flowers around me not just as decoration—but as companions. Each bloom became a small reminder to breathe, to pause, and to find grace in the present moment.
It was through sketching daisies, marigolds, and lavender—holding my brush with trembling but hopeful hands—that I started to reconnect with myself, and with my son Daniel. These watercolor artworks became emotional anchors, each petal a part of my healing story.
This collection is more than a series of floral illustrations. It is an intimate reflection of motherhood, mental health, and the quiet, powerful resilience that unfolds when we let beauty guide us through grief and growth. Through this work, I share not just flowers, but the transformation they sparked within me.
